The Dymedix TriplePlay Disposable Snore Sensor is an extremely sensitive polyvinylidene fluoride (PVDF) snore sensor that comes in a pack of 10 or 50. This snore sensor features an adhesive back that keeps the sensor in place, and its soft and comfortable design prevents skin irritation. The TriplePlay Disposable Snore Sensor is extremely responsive to snore vibrations so placement is less critical compared to traditional snore sensors and snore microphones.

This sensor employs PVDF film that accurately detects snore vibrations. Designed for use with a Dymedix TriplePlay Reusable Interface Cable - Snore, this sensor responds to changes in both pressure and temperature and is perfect for home sleep testing. This product is made in the U.S. and is accepted by the American Academy of Sleep Medicine (AASM).

PVDF is a specially treated plastic film with a permanent electrical charge that instantaneously generates a voltage when exposed to changes in temperature, pressure, force, vibrations, and sound. PVDF is much more flexible than conventional Piezo material, and also reacts to both temperature and pressure, making PVDF far more responsive to sleep-related physiological events than other sensing products. Additionally, PVDF film is the fastest signal transmitter in the sleep sensor industry (1,000 times faster than a traditional thermistor).
