Using a Piezo-Electric Crystal (# 1398), the SleepSense Alice 4 Double Buckle Piezo Crystal Effort Sensor converts chest or abdominal respiration movement to a small analog voltage that provides a clear, reliable indication of respiration waveforms. This sensor is a direct replacement for the original Alice 4 Effort Sensor. These sensors do not require a battery or interface.
